I'd second this -- there seems to be a lot of confusion concerning what
is the best, officially sanctioned way of upgrading openSUSE. I once
followed the "supported" upgrade instructions at
<https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Tumbleweed_upgrade> and, when they
didn't work for me, was chastised by a developer for not using the
"upgrade workflow". [1] (I asked him for further details on what
workflow he was talking about but received no response.)
